People aren’t stupid.
They’re not going to give us something for nothing (at least, we shouldn’t bank on it).
So, if we want something valuable from society, we need something valuable to provide in exchange.
Historically, this has been relatively linear: the more time we spend chopping wood, or planting crops, or making widgets, the more value we produce.
But things are changing dramatically. Which leads us to the idea of leverage.
