Humans love stories.
They inform our personal (and collective) perception of the world.
But perceptions are fallible.
And as the world speeds up, there's no telling whether our value systems will withstand the stress.
I have no business restructuring society. But by grappling with this problem, I hope to become incrementally less stupid.
