Priority

Our options are endless.

At any given moment, there are infinite ways we could be spending our time.

What to do, in the face of such choice?

Simple: choose the best option.

But notice something interesting. We can't make the best choice without the existence of "better" (and therefore "worse").

If everything were perfectly equal, we'd be too demoralised to do anything at all.

Action depends on priorities, and priorities depend on inequality.

This might seem unjustified. Equality sounds nice - why not preserve it at all cost?

Here's why.
